Refunds, deposits & cancellations

This policy applies to fees paid toward financial auditing and related assurance engagements with Juniper Ledger Review. It does not cover products we do not sell, subscriptions, or retail goods.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered for deposits and progress fees when fieldwork has not begun, or when we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control. Once substantive testing or inventory observation has started, fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable.

Timeframe

Refund requests should be sent in writing within fourteen days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, our notice of cancellation, or your withdrawal before fieldwork).

Full or partial refunds

If you cancel more than fifteen business days before the scheduled fieldwork start, we refund the deposit minus a ¥40,000 administrative charge. Cancellations inside fifteen business days may receive a partial refund after deducting preparation hours already spent on planning and document review. If we cancel without offering a mutually acceptable new date, you receive a full refund of unused fees.

Non-refundable items

Third-party confirmations already ordered, courier costs for physical documents, and travel booked at your request outside Kumamoto Prefecture are non-refundable once incurred. Hours already delivered for walkthroughs or sampling are billed and not returned.

Refund process

Email hello@networkconnectivityhub.digital with your engagement reference, the amount paid, and the reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within ten business days.

Processing time & method

Approved refunds are returned by bank transfer to the original payer within twenty-one business days after approval. We do not issue cash refunds at the office.

Rescheduling & no-shows

One reschedule of fieldwork dates is allowed without charge if requested at least ten business days in advance. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of ¥25,000. If your premises are unavailable on an agreed inventory count day without notice, that day’s planned time may be charged as a no-show.

Work already started & purchased materials

Draft reports, working papers, and schedules prepared before cancellation remain our property; copies of client-provided source documents are returned or destroyed on request. Pre-purchased binders or printing for board packages already produced are charged at cost.

Exceptions

Engagement letters may set different deposit terms for unusually large or multi-entity audits; those signed terms prevail for that assignment.
